QVFD VOLUNTEERS TRAIN IN RIT PROCEDURES

 March 24, 2007

The past few weeks the Volunteers at Queenstown have been using drill time to sharpen their skills in RIT procedures. Members have been training in accessing downed firefighters and being able to rescueretrieve unconscious victims using our RIT bags ropes rigging and the Buddy Breathing features on our SCBA. It has been a real Eye Opener for some which just re-enforces the point of training BEFORE you have to do it for real.
