On April 1, 2023 @ 0909 hrs. Station 3 was alerted for an MVA w/rollover EB Rt50 @ Wye Mills Road in the 3-73 Box. Chief 3, Rescue 3, Engine 33 & Engine 32 responded with 9 members. Queen Anne advised the caller reported an overturned armored vehicle. Chief 3 arrived on location with one vehicle off the roadway, confirming entrapment. Officer 305 (Nash) established command. Command requested a heavy wrecker to respond to assist, along with requesting aviation, bringing Maryland State Police Trooper 6 to the scene. Paramedic 40 from Goodwill Fire Company later transported one patient by ground to Shock Trauma. Trooper 6 transported one patient to Peninsula Regional Medical Center due to inclement weather at the time.
